november. but i have to tell you that, suzanne, mitt romney wrapped up a news conference on a tarmac out in iowa a little while ago and he was asked about the jobs numbers and the jobs report and the president's speech last night, and you heard president obama going after mitt romney accusing the gop nominee of not offering enough specifics in terms of the economic plan, and romney hit back at that, and he also offered up this assessment of the president's speech last night, and this is what he had to say. >> you know, i'm just going to keep on talking about the things that i believe and describe my vision for the future and have people consider the lack of progress that has been occurring over the last 3 1/2 years. if people, and you know, i think that the message from last night was that the president's plan is four more years of the four last years. i don't think that the american people want four more years of the four last years. >> and so it seems that mitt romney will be hitting the economy and hitting the jobs numbers that came out earlier this morning, and he has an event coming

flying is these days more planes were stuck on the tarmac in july than the previous eight months combined. according to the department of transportation, in july, 28 planes were delayed at u.s. airports for three hours. bad weather did have a lot to do with some delays. at the same time, the reports claim that united has the worst on time rate and us airways was on time the most. the best airline over all was hawaiian airlines and alaska airlines, which if you are on the east side you can barely use. an 87-year-old man jumped out of an airplane and brought three other generations of his family along for the ride. he says he wanted to make the second sky dive before he lost his eyesight and his grandson deployed to afghanistan. he added that he wants to go sky diving yet again but the next goal, really, is to go bungee jumping. trace is live. >>shepard: i don't know about this bungee jumping, trace. >>trace: you have to think about this guy, he is totally blind in the left eye and because of of the problem, he can barely see out of the right. but he was close to the door and he says he cou

drove on the tarmac. this u.s. air jet came in and all the passengers got off the aircraft and all the luggage came down the conveyer, and, finally, a casket appeared. i was brought down the conveyer. i put my hand over my heart. the state troopers would were there with me, they all went to attention and saluted and, of course, the members of the armed forces who received the casket stood at attention and saluted. i glanced up at the terminal, the u.s. air terminal there, a big glass window, a big wall this at the terminal, where the people who had gotten off the airplane, they saw the police out there, wonderd what was going on and they were lined up against the glass. all the people walking down the halls they saw the people lined up against the glass and they crowded up to see what was going on, as i looked up there every single person i saw had their hand over their heart. we are a patriotic nation. we love this country. we love the men and women who serve in this country. we face real challenges and i want to talk about some of the challenges we face in ohio and at home. this
